While at this point it's unclear when and if Horizon Forbidden West will be coming to PC, with the game's PlayStation release scheduled for February 18, 2022, we can now check out IGN's hands-on preview of Guerrilla Games' action-RPG while watching roughly 12 minutes of fresh gameplay footage. Have a look:
Horizon Forbidden West is about to hit the PS4 and PS5 on February 18, and ahead of its launch, IGN's Jonathon Dornbush was able to play four hours of Horizon Forbidden West in a first hands-on preview of the sequel from Guerrilla Games.
Learn more about what it's like to play Horizon, and see some brand new Horizon Forbidden West gameplay, as Jonathon breaks down what we've learned about Aloy's new adventure. In this Horizon Forbidden West hands-on of an early section of the Horizon sequel, Jonathon explains some of the new additions to exploration, like more ambitious climbing mechanics, items like the Pullcaster and Shieldwing, and more. Plus, we dig into the updates and expansions to more robust settlements in Horizon Forbidden West. Jonathon speaks to some of the new sidequest types, how sidequests are meant to be more rewarding in general, and much more. We also dig into some of Horizon Forbidden West's combat advancements, including new skills, new weapons, new machines like the Burrower, Bristleback, and Slitherfang to fight, and even the new Arena environment that players will be able to fight hosts of tough machines in.
This preview does address parts of Horizon Zero Dawn, so there will be some spoilers if you have not played the first game, but otherwise we do lightly touch on some of Horizon Forbidden West's early story beats and characters while avoiding major spoilers.

2022.01.26 08:03 _pd01_ Trouble walking down stairs
It has been 6 months post-OP and I don't have that much problem climbing stairs but walking down stairs is an issue for me as I need support(from the railing and/or wall) when bending my operated leg. Any tips?
P.S: I am doing my routine quad and hamstring exercises as well as brisk walking and will start cycling/jogging upon approval from my surgeon.

I have moved to an EU country and forgot to update my address.
Should I keep my English one or should I let them know I have moved?
Does it matter ?

2022.01.26 08:03 Evoluxman Coming back to the game after years
Hey, I started playing the game in 2017-18, but left after some time due to busy IRL and not finding any good groups to play with. I'd like to come back into the game, and after 2 years of playing other MMOs (like Eve online), I learned how important it was to find a good group to stick to a game.
So I have a few questions. I'd like to play as a mage, but I'm not sure which type of mage is good or meta in general. I have a very tiny bit of experience with fire mage and I started trying the cursed staff yesterday. But idk which type of mage is more valuable to a group, both PvE and PvP (aside from priest I suppose ahah).
Idk if it's allowed, but I didn't see any rule about that, so I'd also like a few recommendations about large player groups. Is there a sort of "story" with some of these? I'm coming from Eve, where alliances have been there for literal decades and their history is as close to countries/factions as you can get, and I wonder if albion has the same. I remember a few people complaining about a certain "PoE" some time ago, but it has been years. And if those groups have premium requirements or whatnot (I'd imagine no, as premium is more about personal progression and doesn't really do anything for groups of players).
Finally, is it worth going into the "black zones"? Once again other MMOs made me realise these in appearance more dangerous places can actually be the most fun when compared to the safe, but somewhat lame, "safe zones".

2022.01.26 08:03 -__Doc__- Boss mechanics I'd love to see in the future.
I had a few ideas to make boss battles fun and utilize the VR controls.
IDK if anyone remembers Shadow of the Colossus on Playstation 1, but it was a game that had ONLY boss battles, and was sort of a puzzle too. You had to climb up the gigantic monster, and attack weak spots. One of the bosses was the size of a village, and had several stages with different weak spots you had to attack in different orders. I highly suggest watching a gameplay video if you;ve never heard of it, Amazing game.
I would LOVE to see these kinds of mechanics in the game for some boss battles. Massive monsters that some or all climb or fly up, to expose weak spots or accomplish some goal to move on to the next phase, or even escape an attack. Since it's a multiplayer game there would need to be "adds" or additional creatures during the fight so ppl are threatened by something other then falling (not sure if fall damage yet)
Imagine Blademasters climbing the boss and ripping pieces of armor off of it while essence mages shoot down the flying monsters trying to attack the blademasters and themselves as the support keep everyone alive. could be a blast.
I just really hope we dont get the normal tank and spank experience. This being a VR game, I really hope the devs capitalize on its unique features.
What do you all think? what kind of boss encounters / mechanics do you hope to see?

2022.01.26 08:03 Rosa_is_Rose What do you think of people (celebrity or not) apolozing to kpop idol after making hateful comment about them?
I asked this question because an influencer recently interviewed Wheein. However the company (Wheein's company) decided to not proceed with it because it turn out the influencer body shame Hwasa of Mamamoo back in 2018 when she appear with the red cloth on Mama 2018. I think it's a good thing the company try to protect their artists.
The influencer then came out and apologies for making those comments about Hwasa. Moomoos (mamamoo fandom) asked them to apology to Hwasa directly. The influence send Hwasa a dm thro insta (here is the link The apology. However it backfire at them for taking so long to apology.
I honestly don't care much about what someone think of someone else specially when you don't weight as much as the person you're insulting. The influencer apologized, but for me, because they're also woman, it make me so angry how women are ready to put down another.
What do you think?
